One of the things I love about couponing is being able to try out new foods and ingredients for free and cheap. One of the foods that I was recently able to pick up for FREE was Philadelphia Cooking Creme. Last night, I made Chicken Bruschetta Pasta, which was a recipe found on the package… and it was delicious (avoiding saying Yummers for fear of being made fun of again ;)
Here’s the recipe:
1lb bonless skinless chicken breast strips
1/3 cup Fat Free reduced sodium chicken broth
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tub Philadelphia Original Cooking Creme
2 Cups grape tomatoes (I used canned diced tomatoes instead)
2 Cups hot cooked farfalle pasta
12 Fresh basil leavs cut into strips (I used Basil spice)
Cook chicken in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 to 6 min, or until done. Add broth and garlic powder; cook 3 min.
Add cooking creme and tomatoes; cook and stir 3 min.
Stir in pasta and basil.
Voila..a delicious meal :)
