If you’ve been reading this blog long enough, you know that I’m obsessed with chevrons, so naturally I needed to do Chevron Pumpkins for my porch :) The project turned out to be a lot easier than I wanted…and a lot less perfect than I wanted..but I kinda like that…because pumpkins are meant to be perfect :)
How to Make a Chevron Pumpkin:
1. Use painters tape to outline the chevron pattern
2. Spray paint pumpkin
3. Remove tape
Now at this point, there were a few areas of paint that had come off when I removed the tape, so I just took some white craft paint and filled in the nicks. Also I did another chevron pumpkin using silver craft paint, and it has since rubbed off because of the rain we’ve had lately, however, the spray paint pumpkin is still in tact. So if I were you, I’d definitely stick to using spray paint.
