Are you looking for a cheap art project to do with the branches found in your yard? Good, you’ve come to the right place! Last year we moved into our new house in the fall and didn’t do much to the yard before fall came. Fast forward to this spring and we have a whole lot of leaves and dead branches to pick up! I got this idea to do an art project with some of the branches and love love love how it came out.
(2) 1x2x6 Wood
White Paint (I used spray paint)
1. Cut both lengths of wood to 5ft each, leaving 1 ft for the sides
2. Assemble the box with nails and paint or stain
3. Find and cut branches to fit width of frame
4. Use hot glue gun to glue branches to the back of frame
I laid my branch art horizontally over the sliding glass doors that lead to the deck and love how it looks! Not bad for under $5.00!
