Let’s face it, not everyone has a computer these days. Tablets and smartphones are quickly replacing that dinosaur of a desktop in your household. Well here are a few strategies for you to still save money without having a computer:
1. Collect Insert Coupons – The cardinal rule of couponing is the more coupons you have the more deals you can do. Since you don’t have a computer to print off coupons, then you’ll definitely want to buy your local newspaper every Sunday for the coupon inserts. (P.S. Here are a few other strategies to get coupon inserts)
2. Mobile coupons – If you have a smartphone, then you can download the Ibotta Mobile Coupon App, which allows you to save money just by purchasing select items and uploading the receipt using your mobile phone. You can also sign up for Target Mobile Coupons too!
3. Follow your weekly sales – Now without a computer, you may have a hard time following coupon bloggers, which are the best resource for the week’s best deals. But you can pick up your weekly sales flyer and match up the coupons you have to the sale items. Remember, the best time to use a coupon is if the item is on sale. Do not buy a product just because you have a coupon for it! :)
4. Visit your library: Most libraries have computer labs set up for use. You can use this free time on the computer to check out local blogs and find the best deals. Some libraries may even let you print coupons for a small fee.
These are just a few strategies to get you started. If you are having a hard time justifying the purchase of a computer and/or printer, just remember that you will make your money back in the amount of coupons that you will be able to print!
