Hello 207 viewers! I am Chrystie Vachon and thank you for taking the time to check out my website after seeing me on tonight’s news segment! I hope you were inspired to start saving a ton of money on your grocery bill! My motto is“If you like free…you’ll like me!”
Be sure to check out the page I have dedicated to Maine Couponing Deals!
As Kathleen mentioned, I was on Extreme Couponing and filmed my episode at the Shaws in South Portland, you can view my episode on Netflix or on Amazon. Look for Season 1 Episode 8: Chrystie & Treasure to find it.
As you saw on the 207 segment there are many ways to cut your grocery bill! Tonight, I talked about a few of the ways you can start saving. Below you will find several of my favorite sites, apps & tips for couponing!
1. Get your hands on some coupons!: Sites like Coupons.com, Redplum.com, SmartSource.com & CouponNetwork.com are a great place to get printable coupons. You can even check out which coupons will be in your Sunday Paper.
Bonus Tip: You can usually print 2 of each coupon per computer in your home
2. Ibotta Mobile App (iPhone & Android) – If you haven’t already done so, you’ll want to download the Ibotta Mobile App. This app is a MUST-HAVE, especially if you are prone to forgetting your coupons at home or in the car! I made a quick video on How to use the Ibotta App for further instruction.
Bonus Tip: Here are my top 3 favorite couponing/saving mobile apps
3. SavingStar – SavingStar is the digital coupon service that I talked about! What you’ll want to do is sign up for SavingStar and attach your Shaws, Hannaford, CVS, Walgreens & Rite Aid shopping cards to your account. Then you can select the coupons you want to add to your card. Once you make the purchase, the savings will be deposited into your SavingStar account and once your account hits $5.00 you can request a payout!
Bonus Tip: You can also use manufacturer’s coupons in the store
