*Don’t Forget* Whole Foods One Day Sale – Whole Chickens…

Mark your calendar because this Friday, November 11th, Whole Foods will be having a One-day sale on Whole Chickens offering them for $1.29 a pound! There is a 10 chickens per person limit! LOL. I’d love to see someone walking around holding 10 chickens in their hands :)

And if you are wondering what to do with such tasty savings…Whole Foods has a whole bunch of delicious-sounding Chicken Recipes.

Here’s some information about the chicken at Whole Foods:

All of the chicken we sell at Whole Foods Market has been certified to the Global Animal Partnership’s 5-Step Animal Welfare Rating program! That means that the chicken you’ll find in our stores had plenty of room to flap their wings, run around, scratch, peck and forage. When you serve our chicken at your table, you’ll be serving chicken raised on a vegetarian diet with no animal by-products in their feed, no solutions or injections and no antibiotics, ever. Federal regulations don’t allow the use of added growth hormones in chicken, but we wouldn’t do that anyway!

We don’t have a whole foods here, but that seems expensive for a whole chicken! We have Hannafords, Shaw’s, Market Basket, Stop & Shop around here. Do you ever get any deals with Market Basket?
